Central Presbyterian Church has an annual budget of over $600,000 that supports all of our programs and ministries. The budget is funded by a variety of different sources, but the vast majority comes from contributions from members and friends. Every gift truly matters, however large or small.
To make an online financial gift use the link below (There is a new look in our Giving Portal, please let us know how you like the giving experience.):
- Recurring and one-time Giving Portal
(You may log in with your username and password or give as a guest.)
Note: for either one-time gifts or recurring, a credit card charge will appear on your card statement with a description: “SST*CENTRALPRESBY212564 MOUNT VERNON OH”. Rest assured the funds find their way directly to the coffers of Central Presbyterian Church in Des Moines, not a church in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
If you need assistance, please contact our Finance Director Marc Michaelsen or 515-279-3658.
Easter Flowers Order Form
Easter is coming up on Sunday, April 4, and we will have a lovely assortment of lilies and spring flowers for our worship service. Please consider contributing toward our Easter flowers in memory or in honor of someone you love. You may download and print an order form or the forms are available in the church office as well. Please complete and return the form with your payment to the church office by Friday, March 19. All designations will be acknowledged in the bulletin on Easter Sunday. Contributions start at $15 or more.
COVID-19 Relief Donations
Your contribution helps Central support the face mask making team and other emergency needs of non-profits and area agencies. By using the giving portal, you may pay any amount you choose to support these groups.
2021 Stewardship Campaign
Each year in the fall, members of the congregation are invited to make a pledge for the coming year, indicating their level of financial commitment. This allows the church’s Session to prepare the annual budget, based on a reasonable expectation of income for the next year. Pledge amounts are kept confidential. If you would like to make a pledge, please contact our Finance Director.
Everything we do at Central has purpose and meaning. Your pledge helps us to plan and make the most effective use of the resources that God has granted us and that support the ministries we share. But, most importantly, pledging is vital to each of us as givers and allowing the work of the church to be an ongoing part of our walk in faith.
